Default Riceland Speck calls

Im trying to buy a couple speck calls but can't reach anyone. Do i just need to keep trying and leave messages? Don't want to be a pest. Also do yall like the acrylic or poly calls best? Thanks!!

just picked up a polly and I really like it. But if I was a baller I would have the acrylic or wood for sure. How long has it been since no response?

James has been really busy with guiding. He is probably not home. Try contacting bill Daniels, but he is probably really busy too. Hunting season is extremely busy for both of them

I've been emailing Bill about a poly snow, and hes been getting back to me within the same day. I got the acrylic spec last year, fantastic call.

Is there sound difference between the two or is it just cosmetics?

There is a sound difference. It's not as drastic as black and white, but there is a difference. Different materials have different natural frequencies, producing different pitches. To me, wood calls have a more natural pitch. But that's just for peace of mind for me. I'm sure you can kill just as many behind a poly as you can behind a wooden call
