Made a trip with my wife this morning. Was actually going to target Reds until we came across some birds working. Lots of bait and clean water...... BAM! It was on. 50 Specks without a single throwback, 27 Sand trout and 2 gaff tops. Caught one black drum who must have been lost. Left them biting. All fish caught on green sparkle tandem rigs. Gotta go clean my fish now.

Lol, I always look at the pics people post with the fish across the bow or on the deck of the boat and just wince. I am not going to handle all those fish and slime up my boat just for a pic. A while back I put a trip on a table. Not likely to happen again. When the fish come out the ice chest it goes on the cleaning table. I handle them the least amount possible.

LOL. I feel the same way you do! That's too much messing with the fish.

But how can someone get a picture of all their fish to post on the internet if they don't throw them across the front or on the deck of the boat? That's the way real guides do it.

If the guide wouldn't lay the fish out you would call BS on the number - gotta give you and slickfish something to count. Prolly why BL lowered the limits from 25, that way the texans (or Mississippi, wherever you're from) could count high enough to verify the claims...

Reminds me of fishing with my PawPaw and Dad. We either used shad rig tipped with shrimp or sparkle beetles tipped with shrimp.

Nice trip.
