Default 10-19 vbay yak down

Kept a close eye on the weather this morning. When we saw it looked like it was gonna pass we loaded up. Me and buddy dropped our yaks in around 9. It's started real slow, but we found em eventually. Finished with 7 reds (all right at 20 inches strangely), 1 flounder, 1 speck, and 1 sheephead. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1382217364.984441.jpg

Fresh shrimp on bottom. Caught em all on grass beds. Even the speck.

Great catch, I love the way that Yak fishers can catch their share.

Had a guy laugh at us and ask me where I was going so fast. He wasn't laughing when we met up with him later and he still didn't have a fish in the box after burning probably $50 in fuel.

Hobie Pro Angler 14 from Pack and Paddle. I had to buy one for my wife too!! Lol Now if we can just catch a few fish and exercise, all would be well.

Great report and pics, I will be picking up a yak in the next year hopefully. I run from Tampa to corpus and am tired of casting from the bank!

Those things are sweet. But you better have a paddle incase you get back in some shallow areas. Those peddles won't get you anywhere in that and where the grass is real bad.

Good advice!! Thanks. I will always have my paddles on that note. That would be good upper body work also.
