Default good buy?

as i've mentioned here before, i need a new bateau for bass/deer/duck purposes.

i found a 2002 1652 semi v Xpress with a yammy 40 3 cylinder in very good shape, low hours... remote steer, carpeted floor, etc...

didn't have any dents or bends in the hull...

guy wants 2750 for it.......

has a galv trailer in good shape with 4 boards.

If the boat is i decent shape that is a great buy!!...That 40 yammy is a great motor.....I have a '06 50 yammy that I love, but the 40hps are much better...I've been looking for a 1652 to replace my 1548...They are not cheap new....Great buy in my opinion!

The only downside to it is the carpet. I had 2 boats with carpet. I don't like carpet in a boat. But in an aluminum boat, it will help quiet down the noise when you move around.

no a ranger flats boat, and another bay boat in a slip that's mine to use whenever, it belongs to my grandfather

i wouldn't be scared to fish big lake in this one on a smooth day, or just stay in turners. wouldn't be too bad for wading out of.

My buddy got a little boat like that with a 40hp. I bet he would cut u a killer deal. It just sits up. Needs a little TLC but it runs! I can talk to him about it and get u some pics Tom when I go to Opelousas.

I was thinking of getting me a little boat too so I can do some running around in basin. Sweet ride man, it's a perfect size and the 40 is plenty of power.
