chez francois has the best prices on oysters right now, they still arent cheap though

If you are willing to dive to Patterson they have a guy that has some of the best oysters I have ever bought.

And a good portion of them were just shells and didn't even have oysters in them! Everytime I go there I say to myself that I will never go again. But, as someone else said there aren't many options in Lafayette. I usually drive to Abbeville when I want some good raw oysters. Dupui's is my favorite but I'm not sure if they sale them by the sack. |
