I like owner hooks, they make short shank ewg 3/0 hooks, good strong hook that will work with smaller bait and not get all bent outta shape.

I put a rapala jointed in my finger today, past the barb. Fortunately, I was at home putting the rods back in after the children washed the boat. My wife grabbed a scapel and it came out neatly after cutting a bit of skin.
