Default Report: BL sat 6/25/16

Launched at Spicers around 7 this morning (coming from LAF gets me a later start), hit some spots along the channel and caught a couple flat fish. Ran over to S end of the lake and found some small reds and a lot of boats, so made a run to oyster bayou/hardhead pt and water wasn't moving so we did. After dodging a little weather, wound up back where we started and picked up 1 more trout off the channel. Lots of mullet around and some pogies, cast netted some but only keepers were on plastics. No shrimp at Spicers but shrimp boats all fishing in channel from 9mc on down.
Got enough for some stuffed flounder Sunday night.
Might hit rollover tomorrow for some shrimp. Does anyone know if they're around?

Still looking for a place to catch a few shrimp, anywhere between LAF and BL.
I guess Rollover usually turns on later in the summer, but I'd take some advice if anyone had any.

I wasn't going to pull up on a shrimp boat saturday and bother em some since they were fishing but anybody ever had luck with em when they don;t have nets out or stopped?
Thanks.
