What style and brand of jig heads do you recommend for fishing big lake?

Depends on the current/tides too.
Anything is good, but lighter weights will give you a little more action.

Marsh works has some good Jig Heads...check out his site....he just sent me a few to try out....they look good

gamakatsu 1/4 and 1/8 ounce, these hooks stick everything,includin my hands

Where do you get gamakatsu jigheads speckdaddy? I've used there treble and bass hooks and they are the bomb.

do yall find that is does not matter whether they are yellow, red, or unpainted. I always have used yellow ones but i dont know why...i guess thats what the people that taught me to fish used

I seen a fishing show where they tested the colors a fish sees.
They tested black, red and yellow.
The fish see yellow best, then red then black is the least visible.
I use unpainted too, just cause they are easiest to find and cheapest.
I have used some hooks that are weighted on the shank lately, no visible
lead head.
