Do not have to do this because I'm grand-fathered. One of the perks of getting old.

I went today got me and pegs licences, some wiper blades for the old jeep, a qt of sea-foam, and grabbed one of those knife sharpening things offn the cheap tool rack. small town hardware stores are fun but I always bring home something I didn't know I needed when I walked in.

Super easy, all you need is a CC number, doesnt even have to be yours. J/K on the part. They send you an electronic copy and a paper copy. As long as you have your phone on you you can show that to the game warden if you get checked if you dont have the paper copy with you.

Here's a tip if you have the means to do so. I ordered my fishing license online and had the PDF sent to me as an email. I printed mine and reduced it on the copier at work 75%. Then I folded it in half and laminated it to a very small package that easily fits in my wallet. I still have the email on my phone but I rarely fish without my wallet.

So if I scan my regular license into a PDF file and save it in my phone will that be valid if I get checked.

Just take a picture of your license then it's in your photo album on your phone.
