Default You like em big in the front or back??

Just scooped up a HDS-7 & 5 gen 2 with SS from a fellow SC member! Can't decide if I want the 7 in the front or console of the danger ranger. Any one have any advice or logic on which to put whe

That's tough... You can always put the 5 up front and out the 7 on a RAM mount at the console that way you can turn it toward you while on the deck. Or is this danger ranger a bay boat?

I have my 5 on front and 7 on the console. I use the 7 more for finding my spot and structure then on the bow I can stay on it with the 5.

Put a RAM on both and you can move them around.

I got mine small out front and big out back. The only thing I might change is bigger up front to Match the back

I have a 10 next to console and a 7" in front. Sure wish I had 2 of the 10. Will probably sell the 7" and buy another 10" later this year.

Thanks for the tips! Its a bass boat jpeff. Prolly will go with the 7 on the console then. I have the old LMS 5" on the front now so I'm already used to the small screen. I'd love to have 2 10" models but DAYUM they pricey lol. Also is there any cons as far as mounting the skimmer transducer inside the hull?
