Went out there last weekend and did really good in the couple hours we were there. That was first time I ever put in at the pernt. Water was clear and salty but this was before all this rain. Used 1/8 oz heads and glow jerk jrs. Had a south wind so hung a left right at the fishin pier and headed toward those rocks and drifted from the rocks to the mouth of whatever bayou that is (Shark Bayou?) did really well.

If you want to go to marsh island should be able to catch some reds the trout bite has slowed down a bit because you dont see 100 boats in the cove anymore

When in the Island follow the curves and there will be a left you come to and You can go straight also... Go straight and if the water is coming out of the dam then fish it... All over the banks in there you can catch reds but don't get lost it can be hard if you dont know where you at
