Should have spent 25.00 more dollars and got the Abu Garcia Pro Max. Use Pro Max and the Orra HS SX and SX also up in Toledo when I bass fish. But Love shimano saltwater reels! The Pro Max is a pretty good reel though for the price!

Got a question. Y'all use the H2o mettle for inshore? I'm looking for a good inshore bait caster, checked out the Abu Orra SX today and a couple others. Want something to his me a couple years use.

$100 is my max for a reel, but if a mettle will net mettle will net me the same life and good warranty I'll get 2 for $100!!

Rinsing a reel off the is worse thing to do,it pushes the salt further into the bearings and gears. Better off wiping it down with a wet rag and oil the bearings every so often. The lews is a much better reel than the mettle IMO.
