well all of the reports that i have gotten are mild at best. since we have such high water, i believe the few ducks that are down will be spread so thin. i really dont see this years opener being all that great. of course you will have your few blinds that will do good but for the most part, i would be willing to bet that your average blinds will not be so average this weekend.

BUT!!!!!! Good thing we open a week earlier this year!!!!!

Been to my marsh twice in the last week despite record levels of water seen a nice amount of birds.... Teal, spoons, widgeon, Grey's, and pintail...... I'm very optimistic..... Both morning's was after a little front passing which is our better days... I'll be there Saturday to check it out
