I need the rest too. When you start getting to the 50 mark, those days of hauling decoys, wrestling with boats, dogs, guns people, the occasional dunk in the marsh, pirogues in and out the boat, push poling five miles, and all this is on a GOOD day.......my body just needs to sit still for a week or two.

Course I'm ready for the war again now

Yea no doubt rest is necessary, I actually gained weight during duck season...guess I'll blame it on the cold pops, Looking forward to my home cooked breakfast when i get back from hunting too, she said she dont wanna go hunting but will cook for me when i get back...fine with me!

Just got word from my land owners that they are going up on my lease, $60/acre 500acre minimum. So $30,000.00. Isn't worth it! Unbelievable what "yuppies" will pay for a place. I paid $5000.00 for 250 acres last year. Trying to work a deal with him on smaller acreage but it ain't lookin good for me this coming duck season.
