I can show you 2 churches within 20 miles of my house where mass killings occurred (I personally think the state should change this part of the ccl law). BTW if you do carry concealed weapon in a place that is prohibited and caught you could lose your permit.

im curious where???

This is the definition of brandishing:

Verb
Wave or flourish (something, esp. a weapon) as a threat or in anger or excitement.

Just because a person's gun shows doesn't mean he is brandishing it. However, one can still get arrested for brandishing if he does so according to the definition I posted.

I disagree a weapon in a holster is not "brandishing"

Apparently, there was another shooting today in a movie theater somewhere along I-35. An off duty deputy shot the peep though. Saw it on YouTube via fb a few minutes ago.

Corey, you know I'm from Gonzales. The incident I remember happened on a Wed night and I think 7 innocent lives were taken.

Wrong on the days. If I remember correctly, it was somewhere around the time that I came here.

I carry in my truck. I put it on my lap when at ATM's, no matter where I am at, and with me when I fill up at gas stations in certain towns.
I have to drive thru NOLA at not so good times to get to work. I don't normally stop, but if I break down, I don't want to be a target for the uneducated democrats in that town that are too scared to take anyone on, 1 on 1. They have to carry a weapon and fight in groups, no matter who it is they are targeting.

I keep mine hidden, where it is easy to get, until I stop somewhere that is not full of civic minded folks. Then it is in my lap.

I like that holster under the steering wheel, but I'm not sure if I would use it. With that strap going all the way around the column, it would scream "Break these windows and see whats in here". I think I'd have to remove it every time I parked and I'm sure I would get too lazy to do that after some time.

Understood.....most of my time is on the road from hotel to hotel, so I'm used to unloading GPS, radar detector, etc.... And I don't really like the strap either but I think it will be worth the trade for accessibility.

I will give a report in a few months on pros and cons.
