Default Calc River 2/1

Fished the river for a few hours today. Put in at white oak and headed north. Water is still high, stained/muddy, and was moving pretty good. Very windy as well. Managed to catch 5 bass and a choupique. Fish caught on crankbaits and jigs.

Some days it can be tough. It's one of those places you can go one day and catch a few and the next not a one lol....Good luck and let us know how it goes.

well I did manage to set the hook a few times but come up short. I had one that was swimming off with my black/blue speed craw and missed it! then a little later I had a really nice fish on a spinner bait all the way to the boat and it swirled and come off. pretty fish though
