Greer's Ferry or Trout Fishing in General
Supposedly below the dam is a stocked tailwater that has cold water year round. was thinking of bringing some ultra light gear and maybe some little inline spinners or something. |

Greer's Ferry or Trout Fishing in General
Fish at JFK (Army Corps Engineers park. The river has a deep channel between the boat ramp and the last point in the park. That's a great stretch to fish with fly rods. Sow bug, or pheasant tail nymphs under a strike indicator. For donning rods tight line power bait or canned corn.
Swinging bridge access point in my favorite place to fish in the afternoon until dark. You will need chest waders for this area I'd walking down the river. Call the Ovris fly shop at swinging bridge and they can setup a guided trip, that is best for your first time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
