Default Sabine River 6/12

Made a trip early on sunday with Longcast's father. Launched out of burnt out bridge only to find the tide ripping in. If we stopped the trolling motor, we would drift backwards instantly. Caught 10 bass, 2 flounder and a red. The tickets today were some tubes (orange and gray, green and silver. Both 2 tone), pop-r's, chug bugs, and senkos. Red was caught on a white spinnerbait. Longcast's dad was flipping back toward the bank, underneath a lot of stuff I could not cast under, produced fish after the tide slowed. It was his first fishing trip since coming down from NJ. Wish I could have gotten a pic of how much he was smiling while the red was ripping his drag. This flounder was caught on the orange and gray tube. It was a beautiful day to be on the water. Left around 12, heat and lake lice got to be too much.

Haha, thought about blacking it out, but anyone who has launched there already knows where that is

I agree on that! Weak for sure. I don't mind showing where I fish, and blacking the shore on my "labtop" is too time consuming.

i'm the same way.. i can't fish there every second of every day.. i say, why not let others enjoy it too. besides, there's a gazillion fish out there and i can't catch 'em all!!

We couldn't either, and all fish we caught were released to fight another day!

Man, it rides and fishes much bigger than what it is. The entire boat is deck! I felt very comfortable fishing in the back. Handles waves nicely.
