Any pointers on setting lines for catfish? I'm going to my buddy's camp on Toledo and would like to set a line or two. I've never set lines on Toledo before.

Some folks tie line to the cypress stumps then come back and check them the next day.

Otherwise make some jugs and bait them with live crawfish.

We set trot lines and catch a lot of catfish. And a lot of big catfish also. Run a line between two stumps and I usually hang 25-30 hooks on a line with a weight on each end and one in the middle. Set in 12-20' of water and bait with live bream. I fish for ops and you have to have live bait for them. We also catch a lot of blues on the bream.

Good times again at Toledo... The crew @ Big Bass were really nice and friendly, the rooms and grounds were clean and well kept for what it is...

We will be going back again for sure...
