Brother in law from Texas is coming in this weekend and wants to go fishing. He hasnt been in 2 years since he moved. He's wanting to catch reds. Can anyone help a brother out with tips? Are they still at the jetties? South bank of west cove? You can PM me with tips. Anything appreciated. TIA!

My wife and I just went this weekend. Caught some nice Reds schooling on the south end of the Lake around the Washout. All of them over 10 lbs. She had a blast!!!!! Also caught some on the East Bank with Live Shrimp at the Wiers. We did not go to West Cove, but saw a lot of boat traffic going there, so may be some action as well. We caught some nice specks under the birds on the way back to the launch about mid-lake. A lot of small sand trout in the Lake with live shrimp. North end of the Lake was dead!!!!

Go to South end of the Lake where the Lake opens into ship channel you will see boats fishing. I would try West cove as well. Always good this time of year.

This may be the best report I've seen all year.

Thanks for the hope!

We'll see, my best fishing last year was in November and December.

I can't get out to fish until football ends. Which is hopefully late November. But probably earlier.
