My buddy has one. Told me he hunted with it the other day and it kept jamming on him. Said he could only get off one shot everytime. This was only 3rd time he hunted with it. Pretty sweet gun though.

I don't know. He said at first that morning it was shooting fine then it would only shoot one shot. I guess something with the magazine. It was brand new and u should clean off the packing grease. He might not have done that.

U say that, but spend the extra $100 and get a camo. U wont regret it. Last 2 guns I bought were camo. Wherever that camo is, it will not rust. Hunting in the marsh, I would never bring a brand new synthetic or blued gun out there. The barrel would rust before u got it out the case!

I did clean off the packing grease...but I used winchester gun oil which is very thick...I took it back home degreased her and put rem oil on which is lighter and did not have any problems til this year. I'm thinking I may have some issues with Kent shells...My gun shot fine the other day...I don't know??

I have a Benelli M1 and an SBE II. I have had the M1 for about 10 years and the SBE II for about 4 years. I will never buy anything else. Only con to a Benelli compared to a gas-operated gun is that you gotta keep it reasonably clean. I guess with the inertia operation, all the working parts need to stay as free of debris/trash as possible. I usually clean mine about every 5-6 hunts and have no problems. My buddy has an SBE II and never cleans it, and he never has issues. I just make sure to clean mine every so often b/c it will start hanging on u. Beretta/Remington/Brownings u could go a whole season without cleaning it and probably won't have any issues.

I think cheaper shells that u might take out box and put in bottom of your hunting bag or whatever might get moisture and maybe swell a little. I dont know though. Just my opinion.

I hunted with a guy this year that hunts with an 870 and he couldn't eject the kent shells out and he said its b/c they swell. Man he was fighting that gun hard too to get the shell out! LOL!

specksndasurf was having same issues with his BPS last few weeks. His extractor(or whatever it is) wasn't grabbing his shell when he would pump it. It's pretty old. Pretty funny watching him pump his little heart out trying to get that shell out. That guy you are talking about might have the same issue.
