Saturday Morning Trout Slam!
Busted up the trout Saturday morning 'DOWN IN DULARGE'! Our morning started off with hungry trout coming in the boat with double and triple hook-ups. LSU chubs and blueback swimbaits fished on the reefs had the fish eating up like we're used to! Pretty fish averaging 15-18 in. with hardly any throw-backs. It was great to have Dr. Frank Cardinale back on the big Blazer Bay. Joing Frank were Garland Hebert & Rick Tabor. These guys can fish and they wasted no time filling the big igloo. We fished until 10:45 catching 54 trout as the stiff north wind shut down the bite we were enjoying. I have no doubt we could have limited out with this crew if the wind would have remained calm.
