Default Question for Labrador owners

What do you feed your dog? What is a good dog food? How much do they eat a day?

Thinking of purchasing a lab in the future and wanted to gather some info first
Thanks

I started my dog on eukanuba and he's still on it. It's the best but very expensive. He never gets sick and he keeps his weight on a small amount of food. The purina pro plan is also something I use if I can't find the eukanuba.

Taste of the Wild, There is about 4 or 5 different flavors to choose from. Lil on the expensive side, but they use good ingredients. Usually about 43-45.00 for a 30lb sack

Feed one Blue Buffalo. Feed the new one a mix of Puppy Chow and left over Blue Buffalo. When both get back from trainers, I'll may be buying something from the feed store that is good. My vet recommends Purina Pro Plan. I may stick with that. I usually give 2-3 cups a day.

Main thing is to check the first ingredients in the list. It needs to be some type of good meat, not corn or wheat.

Purina Pro Plan here too, he seems to like Savor more than the Adult blend. Two cups, twice a day is about what he eats.

That's the key to good dog food. Making the turds nice and hard and easy to pick up.

I was using blue diamond for a while but it was giving my dog skin allergies and wasn't making good turds...

Diamond, High Energy, $30 for 50lbs. Dog eats 1 3/4 16oz bean cans a day. No problems. I never understood those high dollar dog foods.
