Default Sulphur man caught night hunting deer

His name seems kind of familiar doesn't it?

Dang. I was just wondering what happened to him on here. He used to catch some mules but haven’t seen a report in quite some time

Probably saved someone some grief. Deer that close to the road could have ran out into the road and caused an accident.

Are there deer crossing signs there? Needs to be, if there isnt

Well thats just a load of conrbread right there. If it was a decoy, that's entrapment.

I doubt he would be driving down the road with a rifle in his truck looking for deer at night. Surely he saw the deer out there, then went home and grabbed his rifle.

What???? Why encourage more deer to cross the road by adding Deer X-ing signs...sheesh! Bad enough problem already. I agree that he likely saved someone from a deer vs. MV accident.

Read that he posted on the Louisiana Bowhunter's facebook page to point out that they left out that it was a decoy.

I guess if it was a real deer it would be alright?

****, I feel bad for the decoy. Damn thing was just minding it's own business and got caught up in all this ****. Used for bait.

damn.... why do that?! The dude obviously is a decent outdoorsman with the way he catches giant trout, and he seemed to do well hunting. That is just an idiotic move and I think he deserves every last fine and some days in jail. I think anyone who poaches in anyway deserves max penalty.

He's going to lose his livelihood (charter captain) for a few years too. Bad mistake.

Dude is always in trouble if its not stuffing trout full of bait/corn bread mix ... lying to try and win a boat from STAR tourney ... shooting bambi at night ...whats next?

That’s just crazy! Deer meat doesn’t taste good enough to take that kind of risk in my opinion.
