I have been out of the dog training loop for about 10 years so I do not know many of the guys who have been training for less than that. I do know that Ed T has been the best around for a long time. These others may be good but I would go with experience. Good luck getting your dog trained.

LOL, you made up a term then made a bet. The only thing that you won at was proving that you don't know dog related terms. (once again that was not a dig at your dog so don't get all butt hurt again)

That's not a blind and if we are looking at the correct terminology, you wanted one initial line, a cast involves stopping the dog then sending.

Look i have guided for 8 years and have hunt alot of dogs. I have hunted plain ole hunting dogs and field trial dogs i would take a plain ole hunting rock dog over a field trial dog to my blind any day of the week!!! I asked about a trianer for my new dog because i work offshore and dont have the time to train a dog myself anymore. If yall want to really have a competion yall just come down and meet me and ole deadly D and we will put our rock dogs up againest any field trial dog out there and see whos comes out on top!!!! when your dog picks up 500 to 700 birds a year if not more and im talking about birds not dummys then you have a hunting dog. RANT OVER!!!!!!!!

Why don't you just send your dog to Deadly D? I'd hate for a ribbon dog trainer to ruin your rock dog with good basics.

I also want to find a ribbon dog trainer that doesn't use real birds. I know Ed only uses real birds. I would hate for bumpers to mess up your dog.

FYI All Ribbon dog events minus SRS events use live birds

They all use birds daily. Most shoot live flyers weekly. Too many people comment on stuff they know zero about.
