inshore rod brands?

Ive been using Carrot Stix Wild Green for casting and spinning (7') and Castaway for casting (7').

Any recommendations for solid, all-around inshore rods in the $60-120 range? Or others, all recommendations welcome.

I need something that can handle 24" reds and also feel a 14" trout

I recently purchased a "Hammer" custom rod 7'6" med h. Perfect for long casts and catching reds. I love it . Was $189, but we'll worth the cost. I normally won't spend over $100 for a rod but this one has me hooked!!

St. Croix tidemaster and I have two of theses Cajun custom rods and and I have two castaway go2s 7'light spin but it can catch those nice reds w no problems and castaway is coming out w three new rods soon my favorite rod is my castaway light spin it covers all inshore applications and except the pro sports are made in America

St croix mojo bass. Best $100 stick out there. Buncha models to pick from with varying actions, tips, and lengths.

I recently went on a guided trip with Capt Charlie Thomason down in Hopedale. He's now using No. 8 Tackle which is I believe associated with 13 rods. The rods we used were the Hellbent Inshore Rods and they were fantastic. Researched a bit and they are quite affordable running around 60 bucks

you must have just gotten them? I would never recommend these rods to ANYONE! Eyes are super brittle and so is the rod. They are extremely light and sensitive but will snap like a twig

I'm a strong supporter of the Falcon rods. All around very good rod for the money. 7' medium action bucoo is a fantastic rod for inshore species.

My current infatuation is St. Croix, but I have 2 Veritas version 1, no problems at all.

Another vote for falcon. Not a big fan of the bucco. Nothing wrong with them I just don't care for foam grips. The falcon original 7' medium is my favorite speck rod. Also right at 100 bucks.

I wound up getting two shimano clarius 7' (one spinning, one casting). Academy in lafayette blows.
Making a run to venice Friday so I may stop at cabelas in Gonzales, professional in new orleans to see what they've got.

2nd the no. 8 tackle hellbent spinning rods. Unbelievable value. People would buy for $160 if it said st croix

I'm a little disappointed with my St Croix lately. One behind me snapped on a cast the other day. Got the replacement in the mail today and it was in two pieces. The shipping box looked to be in good shape. I just bought a Duce rod and man its awesome. May be replacing my St Croix.

Falcons break easy these days, 3 broken this year and I take care of my rods. Spend the extra cash a get something made by a custom builder. You can only fish with one at a time so there is no need to go out and buy 3-4 rods.

Tried and true performance. Toughness. Reliability. Get the new Elite series with extra graphite for increased sensitivity and decreased weight, cork handles, guides with no inserts ... what's not to like?

Less stress for me and more time for fun on the water.

H2O Express. I've caught everything from sak-a-lait to red snapper. strong and sensitive under $100.

St Croix LegendXtreme inshore is a fantastic rod. but it comes with a hefty price tag. I received as a gift, would never spend that kind of money on a rod myself

also started using Duckett Ghost rod. made for freshwater but has proven to be a great inshore rod for reds/specs.

At the end of the day, find a rod that you feel comfortable with. pick it up, handle it, wiggle it. if you like what you feel..... buy it!
