Erics new CD is his best so far IMO. The style of his new CD really covers several different genres and really shows his musical influences. When I hear it I hear everything from Johnny Cash to AC-DC.

They did over 150 songs, and narrowed it down to what's in the album.

One of them is an actual cut from their warm up. They were tuning in and warming up and he jay went with it. They hoped they got it on recording, and did, then tried to redo it a bunch of times and never could do it is good as that first random run - can't remember what song it is though

I've turned a little more toward the Red dirt/Texas country lately though.

I really like his music and to me he is one of the most diverse country artists around now. That's the same reason im such a fan of Dwight. The diversity of their music is quite impressive.

I was always impressed with Dwights covers of other peoples songs. He doesn't try to make the song his he just sings it and respects it. To me that has always been a sign of a true musician. He knows a song is as good as it can be and he respects that.

This song is a bit different than most of theirs. Randy Rogers Band. Another of my favorites is Josh Abbott Band. His music is personal. You can tell he's singing about his life and people he knows. The names even match up from song to song.
