Two friends were working late at the office. One finished ahead of the other. “Bill, I’ll be here for quite some time. Will you please pass by my house and tell my wife I’ll be delayed?” So Bill makes a detour on his way home and knocks on the workmate’s home. The wife, all ready for bed in her negligee, answers the door. He gives her the message but was struck by her beauty, so he added: “I’ll give you $500 if you sleep with me tonight.” At first she was shocked, but she started to think: He has not been in the mood lately, and the extra money will come in handy. So she agrees. Bill has a nice time, hands over an envelope containing money to her, and leaves. A couple of hours later, the husband arrives. “Hi dear. Did Bill tell you I was going to be late?”
She replied, half sleepily: “Yes.”
“Good. Did he also give you my pay envelope?”
