And how far are y'all from Cameron prairie? A flooded refuge and from your pics looks like water in your field. When your hunting an area that leaves a dust trail behind the 4 wheeler and it's like that for miles then birds will not stay in the area

Yea it sucks. I passed through sweet lake yesterday and there were a lot of fields with water or at least mud. Klondike is bone dry and most of welsh is too

Yeah not a lot of water at all, we have about a half Inch in a very small puddle. But the ground is saturated so a good rain and it will hold.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353519945.589716.jpg got my six this am. Solo! With a blind full coulda had 10maybe more. All teal. Big ducks wary but steady kill. Gotta be on your game tho. I shot three greens outa 6 one was a come back from same six. Last 2teal were walking out standing taking pics with dog and I got em when they crossed n killed both. One early bird flying Mach 3 it took 3shots but I got em. My dog chased him down as he tried to roll out and mashed on him like a trout on a spook. Something to see. I agree we need new birds. 45,000 less hunters in the state of louisiana, 0 degrees with 3 foot of snow for 5 consecutive days everywhere but here, lots of rain, open up the impoundments at Lacassine and Sabine, win the lotto and buy a piece of property just North of White Lake. Repeat the last wish 5 times and buy White Lake.

I probably still won't buy a lotto ticket. I think my chances of winning are better if I don't play.
