Headknocker Duck hunting in colorado

Has anyone ever hunted up there I'm gonna be working near the Nebraska boarder and was curious if the hunting was any good up that way

Was going to hit the second split down here but got sent to a new job site totally messed up my plans for the year and hoping I can at least get a hunt or 2 in this season

I was in Pagosa Springs around Thanksgiving and saw lots and lots of Geese. Anywhere there was water there where Geese. Even on the Golf Course ponds. We stayed at the Wyndham resort and they where real pests. Crap everywhere.

Hunt in Nebraska, its nothing but cornfields and prairie full of turkeys, big deer and ducks/geese. You can actually get permission from some people to hunt on their farms.

Up there a few years ago in spring and 100k+ sandhill cranes all converge in this one big area every year during migration. Its a sight to see.

Side note - they have marijuana that grows all in the ditches up there, first time I saw it I was taken aback but its not potent apparently. do not know why you needed to know that but this cool story was brought to you by cool story bros unlimited

Default Steamboat Springs

A buddy of mine from school lives in Colorado now. Not exactly sure where he is hunting, but he lives in Steamboat Springs. This is a sick picture...

There's also great pheasant and, quail hunting in that region. IMO, they taste WAY better than a duck!

I know the birds come through in good numbers in brush, CO on up to Nebraska I've worked in that region in winter ....the ducks get pretty thick in the mountains too! That would be a little drive for you though.
