Man i got to tell you. W.... you are the man. thanks for the reel.. i was like Christmas a few mins ago in my office.... i got called to the shop to recieve a package and there is a 8 1/2 foot tube.. I was thinkin hell yeah my new rod came .... thanks to salty and Jake at Falcon... I walk back to my office and i have a small package from W... got a whole combo in a matter of 5 mins... Talk about timing...

You'll like that reel. I have 4 of em. Getting my 5th tomorrow evening! You cant beat that price either! They are $200 at walmart.

How do you like the rod Sam? Just curious, I ordered the same one today, I've never picked one up yet. Also, how long did it take to come in from Falcon?

Mat has a hell of a deal with American Rodsmith.. He got put on their pro staff. but has has a coastal and a lowrider... And with being a guide the first pole the customers pick up is the guides....

Since Falcon is not nearly as big an outfit as people think, their shipping is not warp speed. They build rods and ship them worldwide. It'll take a little longer than if you ordered from a larger company but you won't be gettin' a deal like this. I will call Jake tomorrow and ask if he can either wave or reduce the shipping costs for our members. Sam and Hog, how much did you pay for shipping?
Salty, I ended up paying $20 for shipping which is no problem, that rod for $120 total is a hell-of-a-deal! Thanks for hooking everyone up!
