Default Banjo Minnow

I have been seeing alot of advertisement about the Banjo Minnow on TV latley. They spend a whole hour everyday talking about these baits. I called the number on TV and the price for these baits are stupid.

Today I seen a special on TV (order now and we'll throw in this special deal.. but wait, theres more kinda deals) and they were only 19.95.

Is this bait worth it? has anyone here had experiance with this bait? Im thinking if this bait was "all that" I would see it being used more in the tournaments that I fish.

The Banjo claims to be so effective that its banned in several states

What are yalls opinions?

Good thread... I too would like to know if the ever so popular on the tv, supposed to be banned across the nation banjo minnow actually catches fish.

Kinda like them ummm... hell I can't remember the name of them, but they are kinda like a tube bait that falls away from you when you jerk it... I bought some from a going outta bidness store... still ain't caught nothing on 'em. Oh!!! Flying Lure!! That's it!

kinda makes me laugh,

my grandpa use to keep a black bird lure (about 8 inch long with feathers, red spot, and treble hooks), tied onto a rod in his boat. when people would ask what they caught on he would just grab that out

I went out on a guided trip with Double R Charters, we used them under a popping cork down in Baffin. Like the others that had been out with him, we caught nothing.

FlagUS Banjo Minnow

I have a feeling the tune the Banjo Minnow is playing is "SUCKER". I have never heard anyone say anything good about them.

You know dads are the biggest suckers when it comes to buying something for our kids, well at least I am, what ever happened to the 33 classic, box of worms, and an icechest for all those catfish, pawpaw and I used to catch.
