Do you even say anything constructive, or do you just talk smack? It's getting annoying.

I have checked connection and they are tight. I just barely graze the connection and the sound comes out. I am putting the alligator clip on negative post of battery and touching it. I have never seen this before.
Rooster I checked my nuts they aint loose maybe a little lower thats it. |

You are checking the ''hot" teminal at the speaker, while grounding to what? That kinda sounds like a crossed wire, or something not being grounded. Test ALL your ground connections using a common hot. |

Their simple to set up. Make sure on unit to have an in-line fuse on both positive and negative then run all wires to speakers. I bought 4-6.5" marine speakers off e-bay for $25 and bought a cheap unit from wally world for $50 and a cover. Spent less than $100 and its still trucking along. Louder than most of my friends boats that are factory. I think its 500 watts RMS. I hardly ever turn it on unless im in a "redneck yacht club"
