If you stay in the boat and don't come back into the "15 limit" trout zone, you can keep 25 trout while fishing along the LF beach. To do this you would have to launch over in Grand Chenier.

I asked a local game warden this exact question and he informed me limit is still 15 all along the beach in a boat or land. Been hearing people talk about it but he stated 15 everywhere around here even the beaches. Just in case anyone was wondering. He was explaining the imaginary line being 3 miles offshore and where it ran but basically said don't keep more than 15 anywhere.

had some buddies catch one keeper yesterday at LF...and fished all the way back east.... 0

guide boats were pulling up and leaving 15 min later....

Guys fishing next to us with 10 surf rods in pvc holders were fishing live pogy and caught a few, one went ~4.5
