Default 1/2 duck hunt

Difficult shooting today with a 40 mph wind. We hunted on the coast south of hackberry in one of our blinds. We had to stay really late but got our 24. My son wanted me to post the picture of his jewelry on a pintail he claims he shot..

Casey hasn't learned the first rule of hunting with a dog. Look at the birds for jewelry before showing the other hunters the birds as they are brought back to the blind. LoL

I have found that to really be the case second split. Some late hunts for sure but there does seem to be a nice late flight.

Update on the bird for those who are interested. It was banded in Canada and hatched in 2012.
