Default Vermillion Bay reds bite best I have found in a few years

Went this morning for a few hours and in 3 hours me and my friend had 9 keeper reds in the boat before we had to leave. All caught on one reef in The Pass with boat anchored on dead shrimp on a cork. Hope this is a good sign for the year.

No, looked real good for this early in the year. My friends parents were fishing right beside us and they caught 8, so 17 between us and we were 50 yards apart anchored. We never moved a boat.
