Default Great Weekend

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend. Y'all get out there and have some fun and unwind. Be safe out there and I expect to see lots of full boxes in the reports.

Water around here is still high and muddy so this is gonna be play in the yard weekend. Mowing now, and will be weeding and playing planting and redoing some boxes etc. Build a fire in the evenings and prolly put a sack of those on sale chicken quarters on da pit some time along the way.

Brother that sounds like a fine day to me. Make the yard pretty, make the wife happy and have abplate of good eats at the end. Top it off with a cold brew and relax. Life is good

Good luck and be safe. Thinking about a north run to cane river so the wife can catch bream but I'm also dying to hit saline and sling a worm or square bill at some cypress trees and fallen trees. Anyone in the Alexandria area up for a sunday trip to Saline?

I would like some info on fishing Cane river and where to launch. What other fish can be caught there? My wife loves to catch Bluegill or any brim and I become the "master baiter" and hook remover. I live in Pollock and waiting on my new boat trailer from Tampa being delivered today.

So far so good on my play in the yard weekend. yesterday, got the yard push mowed. While Peg weeded some. Today I got all the branches from last storm pieced up and piled in the fire pit along with pine cones and such from the yard. Half way through weed eating with a sack of that cheap chicken marinating for tomorrow. Started off in my bibs but have moved down to shorts, will prolly get back to the bibs before skeeter time I got em on stand by.
