Default Big Lake 5/16/09

Fished the lake yesterday from about 12pm to 5pm. Light south wind, Got on a spot & picked 13 solid trout, 5 or so were 3lbs. East wind kicked up real quick & bite stopped. Lake got rough real fast. Beat & banged across the lake through the heavy chop fished for awhile, wind laid down went back to the spot we were catching on & nothing. Two friends fished the same spot about an hour after I left & caught 2 limits, Could things be starting to pick up? Going to try it again this evening.

Default Trout

We caught these 2 limits in about a hour and a half. My boat looked like a trout slaughter house when we were done but we had a blast.

The water really wasn't that clear but was a little salty and 83 degrees. It seemed like there was a hard falling tide when we caught those.
