Stuff dat!! Caught a little mess this morn on outgoing tide/combined with high water moving out. Caught the majority on gulps. Picked up my rod from Jude on Friday and man do I love this rod. Rod was originally 6'9" but I broke it on a snag (my fault). It's 6'6' now and has not lost any action. Think I am going to order another soon.

Do you always keep that little amount of string on your reels?

Nope, re-strung it this morning. Had me nervous as heck too yesterday, kept thinking I was gonna catch a drag puller and lose the fish. Didnt want to put the rod down though.
