Default **Shark Bayou Obstructions**

There used to be 4 poles at the mouth of Shark Bayou, now there is only 1 visible. During the low tide last Saturday I noticed one of the poles sticking out of the water a few inches and thought, "That's enough to ruin someones day."

Since I was logging some depth data I located the renaming submerged poles.

Here are the waypoints:

29°44'28.03"N 91°51'32.33"W
29°44'28.17"N 91°51'30.54"W
29°44'28.62"N 91°51'28.43"W
29°44'29.44"N 91°51'25.97"W

Make sure to get these in your unit before you have a close encounter with them!

As many people that travel that area you would think they would be marked or removed. Thanks for the info.

True, 2 weeks ago one was marked with a bleach container or milk jug. it was gone last Saturday.

With fishing in the area picking up I figured it would be best to find and post the coords. They were surprisingly easy to find with side scan.

Good job, I was surprised when I saw them.
The south wind had the water high for some time, everything looked different Saturday.

There are also 2 in the canal 1 is right near entrance to cabins, low tide i saw where someone cut it even with the water line. so there are 2 others that aren't seen. Be careful fellas.
