I have had many problems keeping mine [same TM] running.

Had to have it fixed several times the first year under warranty. Wire came off the five speed switch, new switch, wire broke off the switch.

I did not need the long shaft [53" ??] so I cut it off about 10". I did this to cut down on the head vibration..... see above problems.

I had the motor seal fail, allowing water to get into the motor.

I have taken the TM apart so many times, I should start a business.

I also installed a "bumper" and use a bungee cord to prevent "head" vibration. I installed a small bungee cord inside the head to hole the switch in place. This has finally kept my TM working. A couple years ago, I over a 10 trip span the TM quit on me 8 times.
