Awesome, that means there will be zero money spent in Louisiana this go around because in the past, those guys would drive to Louisiana launches to practice. Thereby spending their money here. Not this time!!! Dey givin us the finger and I don't blame em.

Not only the sabine tourney but no atchafalaya tourney and no Venice area tourney. BASS said they will not come back until this is resolved.
BASS is a world wide organization . When the articles start coming out about why they will not visit Louisiana. Fishermen all over the world are going to hear about it. How many fishermen will stop coming here for vacation or weekend trips ? Who Knows .But you can bet it will be more than a few.

BASS weighing in on this long-running issue is a boon. Local committees and organizations have opposed the rule, which is fantastic. But now there's a major superpower putting their voice in the mix. Interesting times!

what p!$$es me off even more is when peope like me DO buy the permits and follow motor restrictions, open close dates, etc. and I am driving by in my little aluminum boat with my 25 (motor size restriction) and there are three other boats fishing in the canal with 40+ hp motors and NO permit stickers on their boats fishing the same waters the i, in my other boat would be restricted, and had to pay for or would other wise be banned. and 9 times out of 10 they do not get caught. BASS is known that they are coming so they are looking for them or they are told they can not fish it. i get it, rules are rules. but when people who bring no money to the state and actually take away by not buying permits can sneak back there and fish, yet a giant organization such as BASS is not allowed to fish, which brings huge revenue to the areas they fish. that is what sets me off.
