Default Center Console Tunnel Hull in Marshes

Has anyone ever seen an aluminum center console tunnel boat in Lacassine?

Talked to a guy at work today, says he used to run one in the pools at Lacassine ... told him I was suspicious but he swears he did.

So it got me thinking how (im)practical an aluminum CC would be in the marsh?

Default Tunnel hull

My dad recently bought a tunnel hull that's 18' with a 72 in bottom, with pods. Amazed me where he could go. He follows the rest of our crew with surface drives as long as he has a inch or two of water.

I've been seeing some clean used aluminum boats with center consoles and 40's and i wondered if they'd be good platforms for Lacassine ...

Yea I bet it would run through anything, if narrow trails are not a concern this is a very good option. All that surface area means very little draft; what engine did he have?

Are we only talking just tunnel aluminum CC boats for marsh? We have always run aluminum flats CC in the marsh with outboards for fly fishing and sight casting
