Default Teal reports

Seems like most of the reports south of I-10 are gueydan heading west. Not seeing anything north of Kaplan yet. Hopefully that front pushes the big numbers we're used to.

I watched a flock of about 2 dozen swarm around Lake Martin midday Saturday.

Default birds

somebody else in youngsville area had to have seen the big flock of birds fly over sunday evening right at dark, so i couldn't see them too good, they were bigger than black birds but smaller than a mallard, they were heading south, close to even with the youngsville hwy, flock was flying crazy, birds were shifting in the flock, they weren't in any kind of pattern just a big clump, i am not a duck hunter so i can not identify a flying bird unless i am familiar with it, or can hear it or see it

Teal are usually semi uniform. Depending on how big I see a lot of groups of 10-15 doves around Broussard. But my buddy fishes in some ponds off 167 and has seen teal land in them multiple occasions.

I'm a little discouraged at this point. With as little water as we have around us they should be all over us but not one.

I've seen more in the puddles in the plowed field across the canal from our 75 acres of water where I've seen very few

Ya boy Larry Reynolds begs to differ from your discouragement. If Larry says they are there, they are there.
