Default New Vudu Hooks on the way

We posted several months ago that we would address the hooks in the Vudu. The top one has the new 4x hook. It also helps with casting distance with a little added weight. Please be patient, we have over 100 thousand units in flow, so the new hooks won't hit the shelf for a 30-45 days.

We will also offer replacement hooks so you can change out the hook. All replacement hooks will be priced very low and offer free shipping.

Also, if you have a problem with any Egret products please contact me directly - ken@egretbaits.com Those who know me, understand that I take the lure business very serious and constructive comments are welcome.

Just hope it doesn't kill the action. That thing glides like a champ.

We made sure the action stayed on target. The new hook adds .10 of a gram. Very little difference.

Looks good. Only had one big red break a hook. The vudu shrimp are really amazing.

Can't wait to try the new hooks myself!

Ken, are they just stronger or is the gap a little larger also?

What about guys straightening them will 10# power pro. The bait works awesome but if I have to net a 14" trout to keep from bending a hook they need to be stronger. Glad to see egret baits working with its customers.

Same gap and length. Just larger diameter. Also, better tempered steel. A more expensive hook, but no cost increase for fisherman.

I have a buddy who had some Vudus and they melted in his box that he had stored in his house. That plus the hook issue is kinda scaring me from buying and trying.

Sounds suspect. I left two packs in the side pouch of my tackle bag all day in the sun in the boat and they didn't melt. Something I did notice is if you leave them in the grass ants will swarm all over them. Ken do y'all put a sent on these things.

I use 12 pound big game and I have snagged the bottom and pulled myself to the snag in a kayak and the hook didn't bend at all. I caught several 3-4 pound fish night fishing and sling them up on the dock with no problem.

They melt. Had a pack melt before I even opened them as well. I'm not complaining about it though its a plastic bait not indestructible and if precautions aren't taken that's probably your bad.
