Default Lowrance hds9 touch or hds10 gen 2?

Trying to decide on a gps for my boat. I want to try the new lowrance hds9 touch but cant find many reviews. I had the hds10 gen 1 in my old boat and loved it but really want to try the touch. Does anyone have any experience with the touch units?

The only thing I can think about the touch is, you usually have wet, oily, or slimy hands when fishing. So when you touch the screen it's gonna leave smears and smudges on the screen.

I have the hds 7 touch w/ structure and i love and it doesn't leave prints etc. On the screen were its a problem. You really dont notice it untill you turn it off.
The maps are awesome. No complaints at all.

We don't have a lowrance but we have a garmin touch. As far as smears and stuff like that it isn't a big deal and we never had a problem with that. I believe that touch screen GPS units are a whole lot easier and quicker to work with IMO.

Touch screen is the ticket , you can just scroll on the map pick a destination and touch navigate too all within a few seconds , simple and quick to name your waypoints also.
