A few bald eagles perched up in tree across the Kenai River from where I was fishing.

daughter and wife first time tent camping.....woke up to this momma and calf at 06:00 20 feet from tent.

I hated leaving "God's Country" when I left South Louisiana but I tell you it would be difficult to get me to leave this place......with that said we have not made it through a winter yet......WINTER IS COMING!

Thanks, Hooper. She was thriving while in Houston but has REALLY been doing well since up here. She loves being outdoors.

Keep postin and let us know how ya like the winter those pics are way different froze over. I have known a few local guys transferred up there to work they all agree it is both the best and the worst place they have ever been.
