I've shot them really not a bad shell, and that's a great price

moving up and old thread. Have you guys ever shot PMC shells or Rio blue steel? I have been shooting Hevi-Shot and Blackcloud all year but man those shells are very expensive. Now that I have a few more hunts under my belt and never see any guides or everyday hunters using them I have to wonder if they are worth the extra $$$. I can get PMC and Rio for less than half of the expensive brands. I do like the Hevi-shot/steel, they are great.

shot the PMC brand towards the end of the year. also I shot the RIO brand last year....no issues with either. I usually shoot 3" 1-1/4oz #3 or 4.

Shot lots of Rio this year, had a bad jamming problem. Shell was splitting and plastic coming apart. Emailed Rio and they informed me my batch had a recall for this exact problem. I sent 7 boxes back and they sent me a new case. Only shot one box out of case but No problems since. Customer Service was great. Will buy more in the future

I've shot some PMC's and they sucked. Never shot rio's. I've been shooting fiocchi 3 1/2 #2 with 1 9/16 oz of shot at specks and they work great. Unless your getting a great deal on the rio shells, I would look into rogers sporting goods. You can get good deals on some federal duck loads for 99 bucks a case delivered to your door. Those federals are 2 3/4 with 1 1/4 oz of shot. I like a heavier shell than a super fast shell

Shot the PMC last couple of hunts and they sucked. 3" # 2. Would hear it hitting the duck, feathers fly, and nothing but maybe a wounded duck most of the time. they were mostly 30-40 yard shots at greys. Been shooting kent's and really can't complain about they shells.
