Default How to make money off low oil prices

I noticed a lot of energy company's stocks are taking hits with these low oil prices, some more than others. What would be some good stocks to buy now that are going to get real low but still be able to weather the storm and come back up again when this is over?

Here are some I'm watching that are down 60-80% right now. Some of these could quadruple and still not be back to half of their high's just 6-7 months ago. But it's all a matter of picking the ones that will survive as you say.

REXX, GDP, SDRL, RIG, PVA, BAS.

I'm looking to buying some stock myself. I'm a first timer. I have a friend that had been coaching me for a while.

No, It's not redundant because no one answered my question about what stocks they liked. LOL I'm still wondering myself what others like.

Yeah that one too. But man, it's how to know which of these smaller companies won't go bankrupt after you buy your shares. Lot's of upside, but lots of risk also. EXXI has a lot of debt on the books.

I'd stick with the blue chip energy stocks or preferably an energy index ETF. I'll post the ticker of one Monday when I'm back in the office.

I also bought AAPL @ 92 and 94, saw it run up to 119, now it fell back a bit. I'm definately long on Apple. Not worried about this one.
