Will do. There is another boat being rigged before mine. Changed a few things on mine too. Simrad NSS 12 now. EVO2s were delayed and had a few bugs from what I heard. Have had several NSS 12s and like that big screen. Plan to get e-cards from Standard Mapping.

Anyhow been fishing in Grand Isle last week in my brother's 24. Ran through some very snotty weather and was pleased with how solid and dry the boat is.

Here is a pic of his 24 when we picked her up in Titusville, FL last Tuesday.

as seen in the very first picture you posted and again in the first picture of this post I noticed there are two indents in the bottom just before the transom well, what are they and why not have a smooth flat there seams like it could cause water disturbance just before the prop, or is that the point.

Are you referring to the steps in the hull?

The 22 is a stepped hull which allows air under the boat resulting in decreased drag and increased speed.

The 24 is not a stepped hull if I remember correctly.

Yes, LP is my brother. He is really pumped about his new 24 and has been doing well on the trout and reds around Grand Isle!

I was supposed to be around GI today but things got complicated my my girlfriends niece wiped out on a scooter resulting in a trip to the Children's hospital.

I'll be out there next Saturday and Sunday. Fishing and testing props.

Their FB page says they will start Boca deliveries in Sept. First 2 are sold with Merc power.

And my boat will actually be ready mid-July. They built another 24 that got to rigging before mine :-) So I jumped the gun on timing.

4.7 hrs on the new rig, still doing the break in thing. No video at the moment. Wish I had more time for a full report. Sorry for the delay.

The 22 is very wide and stable. I ran the Gulf for 10 miles and found that the big V up front really works and keeps you dry. I got tabs for the shallow water hole shot. Boat really does not need them, as it naturally runs flatter than a non-step boat. Maybe in a big quartering sea you would want tabs.

Running data: 40 mph cruise was getting 4.2 mpg at around 3,600 rpm. My test load was full fishing gear, 75 gals fuel, 5 batteries and TM on bow, 94 degree air, 89 degree water temp. Made a couple of short WOT runs turning a 23 Razor 4 at 5,700 rpm - ran 64-65 depending on chop and wind. I have some props to play with and winter air temps will improve these numbers.

IBW did a great job on the rigging and layout.
